Live Scores App Helps Me Avoid Antisocial Media

I'm not much of a social media person. I think the concept is nice but overall feel it does more harm than good. I'm a bit of a slow learner when it comes to technology anyway so when I first tried twitter I was pleased at how easy it was to get my head around. The problem with that was it allowed me to see how nasty fans get with one another over The Arsenal and I deactivated a long time ago - social media isn't for me.

I'm a chinwag over a pint sort of bloke. In the few months I had a twitter account I spent the best part of 4 hours a day arguing with people because I couldn't put my phone down and ignore those I felt were being overly harsh on a player or slagging off the fans in the ground. It was addictive and bad for my health. It was a great way to follow the scores but it also came with a lot of stuff I didn't need in my life - arguments, anger, sniping.

When I discovered Sofascore I stopped using twitter for checking on scores and apps that require me to tap in and out and in and out and in and out whenever I want to look at other scores or see what's happening down to the latest card or corner. Sofascore provides me with an amazing real-time livescore service that I can follow on any device thanks to the wonderful sync feature either on web or in-app.

With up-to-the-minute coverage of about 500 worldwide football leagues, cups and tournaments across the globe you never have to miss any football as Sofascore provides me with minute-by-minute details of match actions and scores, half-time and full-time results, goal scorers and assists, as well as cards, substitutions and match statistics of fouls, corners, possession plus shots on and off goal.

There's more detail available in the top European leagues with live text-commentaries for the leagues and cup competitions in the big 5 leagues as well as Champions League & Europa Cup matches (and international competitions).

It has a nice interface that is easy to use and more importantly, is customisable. It works across multiple browsers and devices in web format and is available on iOS, Android and Windows and my user account enables me to access my preferences across the Sofascore app and website on any device so if I change phones I don't have to worry about setting it all up again.

And to sweeten the deal, as I like a flutter, I can access live in-play odds with Bet365 so I'm on top of the market prices but the cherry is the Sofascore video service. There are more than 40,000 streams of video available each year and Sofascore uses them to ensure you never miss a goal again for any featured match.

It's more than just a live-scores app. It gives me everything I need in real-time so I don't have to use anti-social media and spend three hours arguing over the virtues of a Flamini-Arteta partnership or if the ref was crap or not (this is England - the ref is always crap).
