We Won The League At Old Trafford

12 years ago today Arsenal won the league at Old Trafford courtesy of a 1-0 win and a goal scored by the immortalised Slyvain Wiltord.

Arsenal were destined to win the league that year no matter the result against Manchester United but to beat them on their ground to clinch the title is one of Arsenal's greatest ever moments and one of the sweetest memories any Gooner alive and aware of the club at the time will ever have.

This morning, like every morning, I woke up, reached for my phone and kick-started my day with a diet of Arsenal news. Things are a lot quicker these days as since I discovered the free Fanzo app (which you can download for iOS or Android here ) and I no longer have to trawl through 5-6 sites as it's all in one place. These few precious saved minutes mean I get to spend a little more time looking through Arsenal content before starting my day.

Today was a great day and the anniversary of a game that I had almost completely forgotten was coming up. Sandwiched in between loads of other news, pictures and articles like sweet layers of raspberry sauce in a ripple were reams of Wiltord related content celebrating that wonderful goal.
