After a disappointing draw at the weekend Arsenal will be looking at this "easy" game as an opportunity to get some wind in their sails. On paper at least, this should be a walk in the park for Arsenal if they attack the way they did against Galatasaray. The problem for Arsenal however, is the game at the weekend was a so-called easy one as well.

Following that last gasp point gained against Hull over the weekend we will look once again to Danny Welbeck to provide us, alongside Alexis Sanchez, with the goals. Arsenal have been up and down in the league so far but against all but the very best European opposition they tend to do quite well on the European stage. You could say that Arsenal are better suited to European football and barring a Jose Mourinho side there probably isn't a team in the competition that Arsenal could line up against who will park the bus. Anderlecht will let Arsenal play and therein lies Arsenal opportunity to get some wind behind them.

Arsenal welcome back Calum Chambers who will provide a real boost to Arsenal's beleagured defenceArse and even with youngster Hector Bellerin at right-back the defence should be much sterner than the one that lined up against Hull City. Wojciech Szczesny will be serving his suspension for being sent off against Galatasaray and as David Ospina is ruled out for up to 3 months young third choice 'keeper, Damien Martinez, will be the man between the sticks. It's a big occasion for the lad and he'll need the team to be on point defensively to ease him into football at the highest level.

Anderlecht may fancy themselves for this game because of Arsenal's defensive and injury woes but Wenger and the boys will not be taking this game lightly and I sense this is going to be a big win for Arsenal.
