Analysing Arsenal's Worst Performance Of The Season

In the above image I don't know if the low cross from Bellerin got deflected a little bit before Giroud got his right foot to it. I've watched it many times, but it wasn't possible to find out. It's hard to blame Giroud for a miss when you can't see precisely what happened with the ball.
In the 39th minute Monaco started on the counter - not one-on-one – when a distance shot by Kondogbia was deflected in off Mertesacker and everybody thought that Ospina should have moved. What happened?

In this picture it is clear why he fell backwards in the end. He had seen the shot and directed his body into the right direction. If he had made his decision less rashly he could have kept the ball in his arms. As we all know it is not possible to redirect moves within seconds as a human being and he got stuck in the middle.
It all began at the halfway line when Arsenal made a series of mistakes.
