Eight points may appear a bridge too far for Arsenal to make up on Leicester who are edging ever closer to the fairytale ending that every neutral wants, but we have nine games left to make a strong push and end the twelve year wait for a Premier League title. Coming back to secure a 2-2 draw at our arch rivals Tottenham may have shown an element of fighting spirit that should have been there in previous games where our mentality has come under question, and while the result did no favours for either team, it could provide the catalyst for Arsenal to make one final push for the finish line.

Match Review: Arsenal 2 Leicester City 1 - Premier League 14.02.16

As Alan Smith said in commentary on Sky, might this match be the one we look back on in May as the turning point in our season. Danny Welbeck’s late heroics may just have ignited the Arsenal title challenge which was threatening to blow out for good on Valentine’s Day. A goal down at the break, it seemed Arsenal were about to put the final nail into the coffin containing our chances of finally regaining the Premier League trophy. As such, it’s not just the result, it’s the way the result came about that is important. With us, Sp*rs and Leicester seemingly the only teams truly in the race, I’m praying that this is indeed the moment we look back on and point to as the catalyst for our title run.
