Mesut Özil Says Arsenal Play PlayStation Football

Mesut Özil has enjoyed a wonderful start to his career at Arsenal with a hatful of assists and goals and despite scoring two goals at the weekend against Norwich feels there is more to come from him and from Arsenal.

I know that I can still improve but I'm happy with my display and the performance of the team. Aaron Ramsey showed that any player who comes on will do his best for the team and will get involved in tackles and attacks immediately. That's why we've been in such good form.
I'm really proud of the team. We're taking what the manager wants us to take into games and are making strides. Now we've got another three points and can be pleased with that. Confidence is really high. We know what we can do but we won't get carried away. It's still very early but we know how much potential we have in the team. We just enjoy playing and it shows on the pitch. We fight for each other and we are always there for one another. That's why we've been so successful.

Jack Wilshere thinks he may lose out on goal of the month to Kasami's wonder-strike for Fulham versus Crystal Palace but pundits are tipping it to be named Goal of the Season. Özil had a few positive things to say about Jack's goal, likening it to PlayStation football.

It was real 'tiki taka' - almost like they were playing PlayStation! It was an unbelievable goal.

Özil enjoyed hearing his named being chanted by the fans and has promised more attractive football heading into the Champions League group game against Dortmund.

It was an emotional experience for me. I had goosebumps when I heard! I'm so thankful to the fans, who have supported both myself and the whole team. We're showing our thanks with our good performances on the pitch. I hope that they can continue to get behind us as they have been and I can guarantee that we will continue to play attractive football.
